The Pensions Canadians Want: Perceptions of Retirement

CPPLC surveyed Canadians on their perceptions of retirement to see how they changed over a six-year period that included the COVID-19 pandemic and a rising cost of living. The findings revealed Canadians had lost confidence in retiring on time and free of debt.

CPPLC worked with the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis to release the first research into the economic contributions of Canada’s public sector pension plans. The data revealed how communities throughout Canada were positively impacted by public sector pension plan activity.
